The prolific Lay-Far has rocked the socks off the discerning jocks out there via a string of stunning 12's over the past few years and he's showing no signs of slowing down. As solid behind the decks as his productions are on them, Lay-Far's turned it out all over the globe, always driving the crowds wild with his own edits. On "Secret Weapons" Lay-Far lets a trio of those beauties out the bag, sharing three tracks that celebrate an era of when disco, jazz, afro and rare groove ruled the dancefloors. First up is "Quality Hours", a jazz-funk groove that'll work it's magic whatever the time of day, packed with rhythmic punch and some sumptuous soloing. On the flip "Saaba Dub" is a light and loose disco-soul groove soaked in dubby delay and reverb 'til it shimmers like heat haze on a midsummer afternoon.
