Its always a good day when you get news of a new Workshop release. The German label returns with a mini-compilation of 4 tracks to follow up on the stunning Kassem Mosse album and the Lowtec twelve. Four artists that have never released on Workshop before. Willow's 'Feel Me' is the highlight for us, ever since we heard it on Move D's Fabric CD - and now its on vinyl! Manchester-based Herron is on there with 'Lost Track' while London's Tapes offers us the slower "Somebodies Baby." The Horn's synth-heavy "Villager" is a 1996 track that was released on Universal Language (which had some Global Communication connection?) , a raw funk track that fully deserves its resurrection here!
