Ireland’s Pusher continues his unfaltering momentum of 2023 with new 12’’ ‘Get To Know You / Night Makers’ on his very own Indicate imprint. Across the past decade, Dublin based producer and DJ, Pusher, has been a staple in the local scene as both a promoter and a regular DJ on the circuit. In 2014 he inaugurated his production career and own Indicate label with the ‘Social Service’ EP and has since gone on to steadily evolve musically through a slow and steady stream of releases, always sonically underpinned with a raw house aesthetic at his core. Here Pusher marks a milestone ten releases on the label and kicking things off on the a- side is ‘Get To Know You’, an emotive slice of deeper leaning house fuelled by airy chord swells, a swaying bass groove, glitched out voices and resonant synth licks windin their way amongst a gritty, saturated 4/4 rhythm. ‘Night Makers’ then follows on the flip side, embracing a more classic, uplifting house feel via loopy stab sequences, shimmering arpeggio flutters, a rugged, driving sub bass line and skippy, low-slung drums.
